From Kultur Video comes this official review of the 2008 FIA Formula One World Championship season. And what a season it was. As exciting as the 2007 campaign produced, it pales in comparison to the incredible finish of last year.
The two-disc set takes us through an amazing season that saw seven drivers from five different teams win races, while four drivers headed to the Championship standings. Robert Kubica, Felipe Massa and defending champion Kimi Raikkonen were all in it but after 5,000 miles of racing Britain’s Lewis Hamilton took the checkered flag capping a brilliant eighteen race season.
Five up close and personal features along with nearly four hours of highlights are included here.
How is the 2009 season unfolding and how will it play out in comparison to the last two truly compelling years? F1 expertise can be found here: http://www.formula1blog.com/

I’m looking forward to watching this DVD. Last season rates as not only one of the more exciting championship contests in recent years, but it will remain historically significant because of Hamilton’s victory.
The producers seems to know what they’re doing releasing it just before the new season starts in Melbourne this weekend. If only more Americans could start following F1 because the quality of racing is outstanding. I grew up with NASCAR but I made the switch during the Schumacher years and haven’t looked back.
Thanks for keeping me up to date with sports and cinema – I really enjoy your postings.

Too bad there isnt even one F1 race here in America anymore.
It is such a brilliant event, I dont know how they will top itself for drama compared to last year. Amazing
Long live the new king- Lewis Hamilton!
