Pretty cool the number of loyal Cubs fans there are
Long time futility will test ones loyalties and Cub fans have certainly been tested!
As a Cubs fan since my youth, I look forward to seeing this film.
OK, not going to lie; been a Cubs fan since the logo change in 1968, around the time I feel in love with the Bee Gees’ bass player Maurice Gibb. I was 6. I knew very little about the game, very little about the sport, but I did watch it with my grandpa. We’d watch 2 tv sets at the same time and listen to the AM broadcast of still another game. My 3rd cousin is pitcher Cal McLish so he taught me a little bit – - I only liked the Cubs because of their logo, but it stuck with me. This year I get to see them play for real, and yes, having Mr. Sinise be their “voice” seems perfect…now, if Starbucks would sponsor the show, prieless!
