Virginia Tech

The Hokies simply have got to run better to go deeper in the bowl season. Frank Beamer has done it with defense, ranking in the Top Ten for the last 5 years garnering two ACC titles and 31 wins. Darren Evans, Tyrod Taylor and redshirt freshman Ryan Williams hope to provide some much needed offensive punch.
Georgia Tech

Unlike Virginia Tech, the Jackets have a terrific running game that goes by the name of Jonathan Dwyer. The ACC Offensive Player of the Year as a sophomore gained nearly 1400 yards and was instrumental in defeating state rivals Georgia. Tech will have to ride the powerful legs of Dwyer for all they are worth (and according to salivating NFL scouts, they are worth plenty) if they are to win their first national title since 1990.
Florida State

With a powerful offense anchored by three freshman All-Americans led by Lombardi Award candidate, junior left guard Rodney Hudson, the Seminoles could win the ACC title for the first time in four years. Bobby Bowden is in his 34th year and it will take all his experience to guide the team through a brutal schedule where very opponent except one made a bowl appearance last year.
North Carolina

In the land where basketball reigns, the Tar Heels gridiron gang can make some noise with a fast and experienced defense. They’ll need it to counter a raw offense and a tough back to back schedule against Florida State and Virginia Tech against whom they are a combined 1-17.
