Michael Jordan Heads Newest Class into Basketball’s Hall of Fame
Michael Jordan is the reason why hall of fames were created.
The five-time NBA Most Valuable Player leads a stellar group into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts this weekend.

He is joined by a couple of talented Jazzmen.
Ten-time all-star guard John Stockton, a fellow Dream Team mate of Jordan’s, posted some amazing numbers in a brilliant career in Utah. Stockton owns the NBA record for assists (15,806) and steals (3,265).
His long-time coach and former Chicago Bulls all-star Jerry Sloan was also elected. Sloan is in the Top Five for career wins and holds the record for most wins with one franchise (1,043).
Another ten-time all-star and Dream Team mate of Jordan and Stockton, David Robinson joins them in Springfield. The Admiral is a two-time NBA champion and former Rookie of the Year as a center for the San Antonio Spurs.
Vivian Stringer, a three-time national collegiate coach of the year with the third most wins in Division I hoops history (825), rounds out the new inductees.
For Michael Jordan, six-time NBA Champion, fourteen-time All-Star, Olympic Gold Medalist and clearly one of the greatest players to ever step on the hardwood, entering the Hall of Fame is a fitting cap to a brilliant performer.
“The game of basketball has been everything to me,” Jordan said at last night’s ceremony.

No Fame without MJ
The Admiral is a class person. Good to see him get the recognition he deserves.
Michael Jordanis flat out the greatest player ever.
All are deserving, but especially good for the consistency that Sloan and Stockton have brought to the game.
Jordan is the best to ever lace them up. The hall is now legit.
Joran was not only great but made his teammates the best they could be- that is the key to winning titles
