Authors Leonard Shapiro and Ed Sherman get a lot of yardage in this comprehensive and opinionated record of just about anything connected to golf from the best courses to the biggest chokes, best movies and funniest quotes.
It is a celebration of the game with a list for practically anything one can associate with the game. Interestingly they were able to coax original lists written from the likes of the Big 3- Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer and Gary Player.
Events and personalities are ranked as well as topics such as the Top 10 Aussie players of all-time, betting games, player-caddy rankings with lots of humor and photos mixed in. It is not a bogey-free round but is entertaining.
