Diane Lane (“Unfaithful”) stars as Penny Tweedy, a housewife and mother of four who broke some barriers of her own crashing through the male-dominated racehorse ownership world to take Secretariat great success. [...] Oscar-winning actress Sandra Bullock leads a group of four football films as the leading-All-American winners at the box office. The star of “The Blind Side” who portrays NFL lineman Michael Oher’s adoptive mother, teams with the director of “The Rookie” John Lee Hancock to deliver a popular picture. [...] A winning team of filmmakers are out of the starting gates with a pilot order from the premium cable network. Behind “Luck”, a drama set in the world of horse racing, are David Milch who was the showrunner for “Deadwood” and Michael Mann (“Public Enemies”). [...] The horse that won a rare Triple Crown in 1973 is the subject of a motion picture now shooting in Kentucky and Louisiana. Diane Lane stars as Penny Tweedy, the real story of this film as the history-making owner of the legendary race horse.
