The National Football League AFC West – 2009 Preview:

This was the year the Chargers were going to put it all together. Shawne Merriman would be back 100% to bolt the defense to go with a team that had superior special team and offensive units, BUT that has not happened. Once again the Chargers have dug themselves a hole. Their outing against the Steelers was woeful and reflective of just what has to be done to turn things around.

The National Football League AFC South – 2009 Preview:

From the best records in ‘08 to winless in ‘09, the Titans have been one the of the league’s biggest disappointments. Still with a tough D under Chuck Cecil, who replaces Jim Schwartz who left to be the head coach at Detroit after 8 years, the Titans have three pro bowlers in the defensive backfield- Cortland Finnegan, Michael Griffin and Chris Hope, but where the hope is needed is on offense where Kerry Collins provides veteran leadership over an erratic Vince Young

The National Football League AFC North – 2009 Preview:

With an impressive win over San Diego to pull them to .500, the defending champs look to be back on track despite injuries to running back Willie Parker and safety Troy Polamalu. Directing Pittsburgh to an exciting victory over the Cardinals in Super Bowl XLIII, Ben Roethlisberger continues to provide fine leadership. If Jeff Reed’s early shaky kicking turns around and the injuries abate, with a deep defense look for the Steelers to be in the Super Bowl hunt again this year

The National Football League NFC East- 2009 Preview:

For the Giants to get to the top of the East again, they’ll have to do it with a whole new receiver corps. With former Super Bowl-MVP David Tyree, Plaxico Burress and Amani Toomer out of the picture, New York will depend on youth in their wideouts – Hakeem Nicks (first round) and Ramses Barden (third) to go with 5-year vet Domenik Hixon.
