Super Bowl XLVI – Giants vs. Patriots: Déjà Vu All Over Again

The New York Giants and New England Patriots are the last teams standing in this strike-shortened season as the league’s title game plays out on Sunday in Indianapolis. The Giants beat the Patriots 17-14 in Super Bowl XLII by ending their perfect season at 18-1 four years ago. And I believe the same result will occur here only with a slightly higher final score.

The National Football League NFC East- 2009 Preview:

For the Giants to get to the top of the East again, they’ll have to do it with a whole new receiver corps. With former Super Bowl-MVP David Tyree, Plaxico Burress and Amani Toomer out of the picture, New York will depend on youth in their wideouts – Hakeem Nicks (first round) and Ramses Barden (third) to go with 5-year vet Domenik Hixon.
